Max Walk

Max began his PhD journey in 2024, building on his  background in biochemistry and next-generation sequencing methods. He is currently expanding his programming and bioinformatics skills, with a particular interest in RNA structure and modelling. In his research, Max combines a passion for understanding the intricate folding rules of RNA with biochemical techniques, aiming to shed new light on how RNA structure governs function. Outside the lab, Max is an avid runner who enjoys the challenge of pushing his personal boundaries, both on the track and in his computational work.
